Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota Twin Cities Campus extends the university’s affordable, relevant degrees to working adults through graduate education and bachelor degree completion programs.
Saint Mary’s approached Brass Tacks with the need to revamp their online course descriptions for the Schools of Graduate and Professional Programs—over 40 in all, all managed by different departments. We interviewed department chairs and then wrote and edited each program’s introduction page with a marketing focus, giving potential students an engaging yet concise description of each area of study in addition to information about the university program.
Additionally, the university engaged Brass Tacks to assist with a centennial celebration piece documenting the history of the Schools of Graduate and Professional Programs. We started by conducting interviews with key stakeholders, then wrote an article highlighting the university’s evolution and traditions. The article was an important aspect of a larger historical perspective piece created by the Winona campus.Copyediting, Interviewing, Writing
